We love hemp, and here's why. Hemp is one of the most durable natural fibers on the planet, and it is grown with a low impact on the environment. It requires no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers to grow. There is also no GMO seeds used to grow hemp. Plus it makes for one hell of a shirt.
There is currently no organic certification for hemp, however it's grown in a very organic way. We currently source all our hemp in China where it is grown using natural processes and ingredients such as rainfall, animal manure and compost. Unfortunately, it's still illegal to grow industrial hemp in most places around the world, including the United States, because governments continue to associate it with Marijuana. We are hopeful that soon hemp will be growing more abundantly all over the world not just for textiles and clothing, but for all the other eco-friendly alternatives in can provide across many different industries such as energy, food, building materials, paper, etc.
Activists, businesses, farmers and many other hemp advocates are working hard to bring about more widespread legalization and you can help. Click the link below to learn more information and to see how you can get involved.
For our button downs and popovers ,if you are looking for a more relaxed fit or plan on layering thicker shirts underneath we recommend you order one size up from your normal size.
Don't forget we offer free returns and exchanges so if you are unsure about sizing feel free to order a couple sizes and return whatever doesn't fit. You can also shoot us an email if you are looking for sizing help at email@example.com.
We classify our products into two fit categories: Classic Fit and Tailored Fit. Each product has one of these fits listed in the product description.
Classic Fit describes a more relaxed traditional fit. Classic fit shirts will have more room through the body and arms. Our branded tees have this fit.
Tailored Fit is a more modern or athletic fit. It will be slightly tailored in the body and arms for a sharper look without limiting movement or being too tight for comfort. Our button downs and the majority of our products have this fit. If you are in between sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size.
